So I have been in Canada for 2 weeks now! It has gone very quickly and I have started to settle in. From spending a few days in Calgary, before coming to Banff, it's all been great! These photos are just a selection of shots I have taken so far, and I haven't really been out for an extended period with my camera just yet.
The Banff Film Festival was amazing, I met so many great people and everyone was so friendly and helpful. We finished the week with a big wrap party which was amazing as we got to drink and socialise with all the filmmakers and athletes in the festival. A highlight was definitely shaking Adam Bielecki's hand and having a brief conversation with him! (He's one of the world's best climbers and has climbed multiple 8000m+ peaks during the winter and without supplemental air.)
I now start the slightly arduous task of finding a job. Hopefully, I will find something in the next few weeks but I have settled in the hostel and have booked to stay for at least another 2 weeks! Maybe a good time to try and get on the ski slopes with the skis that I bought, see how rusty I am!
Alright, that is it for now so I will update more in a few weeks!
