Based in the UK, Hamish is a skilled photographer with a degree, BA(Hons) in Marine & Natural History Photography, from Falmouth University. Hamish's passion for photography comes from exploring and learning about the natural world.
Through his work, Hamish aims to show the brilliance and realness of the natural world. Whether that be, our connection to it or the animals that call it home, he wants to communicate this so that people can enjoy it too and inspire them to get out, discover and explore it for themselves.
When he's not photographing the natural world he uses the skills he has learnt to shoot various other subjects, ranging from adventure holiday camps to nightclub photography.

THE NATURAL HISTORY COLLECTIVE
The Natural History Collective was created as part of Hamish's 3rd-year project whilst at university. What started as a place to showcase some of Cornwall's lesser-known outdoor areas, has become a page dedicated to sharing other creatives' work about the natural world. With over 700+ followers, it has grown a lot in its first year and continues to grow as the community expands!
