Monday 20th February 2023. My first powder* day skiing, and it was incredible. These are my first attempts at getting those magazine-level shots of snow sprayed everywhere as skiers and snowboarders fly down the mountain. I think a longer lens would have been helpful, perhaps a 70-200mm in the future but next time I'll try taking out the 100-400mm (it's just so heavy to carry around whilst skiing all day!
The day was a cold one with the temperature around -15 all day, and the sun didn't really come out, so I had to make do with the overcast snow clouds which honestly make the mountains look pretty great!
